The stubborn pub of Tottenham
Built in 1927 to replace an earlier pub (Tottenham seems stubborn about keeping this spot a pub - and fair enough!), this Grade II listed North London treasure still shows off the old-school Brewers Tudor look that was all the rage back then and has somehow grown even more charming over the years. Inside, rays of light from the stained-glass windows strike the white walls, contrasting beautifully with the dark wooden panels and giving the space a warm, inviting feel.
The pub has plenty to offer all year round, whether you want to enjoy the spacious beer garden in summer or curl up by one of the three fireplaces in winter (yes, three, just in case you need options!).
Expect a mix of crowds here: locals glued to cricket in the daytime, teachers unwinding after class, and football fans enjoying an after-match pint following a Spurs game just down the road.

Under Shadow’s watch
If you are lucky, you may meet Shadow, the pub’s true boss. This charming cat claims the cosy corners, especially by the fireplace in winter. Take a moment to say hello, let Shadow supervise your pint, and enjoy warm companionship alongside your drink.
