original beer met for pub voucher

If you're the proud owner of our original CityStack collection (barcode ending with '09'), remember that you have until December 2024 to redeem your discounts.

As we launched a brand-new collection, with more features and more pubs, it will no longer be possible to redeem your discount with the beer mats from our Original Collection after this date.

Note that some pubs have closed or changed names, but we haven’t let you down! You will find below detailed updates on each participating establishment.

List of pubs where to redeem your beer mats from our Original Collection

CityStack champions independent pubs and we have used our knowledge to curate a list of fantastic venues. Our mission is to support these beloved establishments, ensuring they thrive and continue to offer unique experiences. Thanks to our dedication, we've put together a list of fantastic places for you to explore!

233-235 Victoria Park Road, London E9 7HD

Formerly known as "Hector and Noble," the pub is now called ‘The Hawke’ under new management. No worries, though - you can still use your beer mat voucher at the Hawke!

160 Union Street, London SE1 0LH

Discover this traditional old Irish pub set in the heart of Southwark. Thai dishes are served in an old-fashioned pub with Irish and global beers on tap, plus live music. A family-run ‘boozer’, expect a pub oozing with character and charm. The family also owns Jack’s Bar, the Ring, and the King’s Arms, all in the area, so effectively they should be Southwark royalty.

1 Kitto Road, London SE14 5TW

One of the few remaining independent family-run pubs in South London. Over 200 years old, Skehan’s has plenty of character, with a wood stove, a traditional front bar, and a beautiful hidden garden. Come for the odd pint, the delicious Thai food or live music playing most nights.

Known as the ‘phantom flusher’, expect this cheeky ghost to flush the toilet just when you’re at your most vulnerable.

226 Shoreditch High Street, London E1 6PJ

A Victorian Shoreditch institution degenerated into a strip bar and is now reborn as an award-winning craft beer pub. Expect lively, indie vibes, with exposed brick and junkyard decor, craft beers and a large garden and terrace. Visiting this pub now, you might not believe it was once a sleazy pole-dancing joint.

The Fat Walrus: Redeem your Fat Walrus beer mat at the Dog and Bell

116 Prince St, London SE8 3JD

Unfortunately, the management of the Fat Walrus has changed and this pub is no longer part of our programme. But you can head to the Dog and Bell (in Deptford) with your Fat Walrus beer mat and redeem your discount!

Casting an eye over the delightful mural on the side of the pub, there is no doubt about the favourite beverage of the place: Guinness! Play at one of the few remaining old billiards tables in London, chat with the cheerful regulars, or simply pet Monty, the famous resident dog which even stars on the pub sign!

36 Globe Road, London E1 4DU

A traditional East End indie where you can palate a delightful selection of beers from local breweries such as Crate or Howling Hops. Expect a snug atmosphere where NHS workers indulge themselves with a pint after a busy day, and Masters and PhD students from Queen Mary University take a break from their lectures over some friendly drinks!
