That’s a wrap! For the second year in a row, CityStack and the London Pub Explorer organised Support an Independent Pub Day, inviting people to gather at their local pubs to show love and support. The day was about raising awareness for these disappearing community hubs, and it certainly caught attention. The BBC even came by to cover the day!
For this 2025 edition, CityStack and London Pub Explorer welcomed their communities at the Horn of Plenty to celebrate these much-needed meeting spots.

Events across London
Across the city, independent pubs joined in to make Support an Independent Pub Day truly memorable. From special menus and live music to quiz nights and themed gatherings, pubs welcomed locals and visitors alike to celebrate these essential community hubs.
Some pubs even set targets for the number of pints to sell, encouraging patrons to make the tills ring!
